Hyatt Hotels Launches New Lifestyle Hotel Brand

Hyatt Hotels has launched Caption by Hyatt, a new lifestyle brand that promises communality and connection.

The new brand, part of the group’s select service category, has been designed to bring people closer together, allowing them to work, eat or socialize together.

The Caption by Hyatt brand will create a location where guests feel comfortable striking up a conversation with someone new over a cup of coffee, a bite to eat or a drink at the end of the day. The brand’s properties will be anchored by a distinctive food and beverage experience, in part created by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, that will be a vibrant mash-up between café, market and bar.

The Caption by Hyatt brand will focus on three core promises: Alluring and approachable spaces that include cozy rooms and flexible common areas; conversation-worthy food and beverage concepts; and experiences that don’t begin or end at the hotel’s front door.
