You Can Now Redeem Your AAdvantage Miles on CX

American Airlines AAdvantage members are now able to redeem their miles to book flights via the airline’s website and mobile app on its oneworld alliance member Cathay Pacific Airways,
including its regional subsidiary Cathay Dragon.

When planning award travel online, AAdvantage member customers will now see flight options for American Airlines, Air Tahiti Nui, Alaska Airlines, British Airways, Cape Air, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, Fiji Airways, Finnair, Hawaiian Airlines, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian Airlines, S7 Airlines and SriLankan Airlines, on applicable routes, when award seats are available.

AAdvantage members can also earn miles when they fly on Cathay Pacific marketed and operated flights as well as Cathay Pacific codeshare flights operated by oneworld carriers and affiliates as long as they purchase an eligible published fare ticket in an eligible booking code and fly an eligible route. On such flights the the award miles earned are based on a percentage of the flight distance and the fare class.

Cathay Pacific is the 10th partner carrier American has added on www.aa.com for award bookings in the last year, with the airline planning to add additional partners in the coming months.
