The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel in Causeway Bay will open the SKYE rooftop bar and restaurant this September as part of its HK$300 (US$38.7) million makeover, offering an ideal spot for business travellers to wind down and relax.
Designed by renowned architecture and interior design company Design Worldwide Partnership, SKYE will offer a sleek look that marries glitz and glamour. Helmed by award-winning head chef Lee Adams, the new bar will offer a variety of contemporary French cuisine and refreshing cocktails inspired by the eclectic and distinctive characteristics of Hong Kong. An impressive wine list from the old and new world is also selected to be paired with the menu.
“The concept behind SKYE is about bringing Hong Kong’s global nomads together at a relaxing design setting,” says Luc Bollen, general manager of the Hotel. “The food and cocktail culture at SKYE underpins the sharing culture of today’s millennials. Chef Adams and his team aim to curate SKYE’s menu to present an interesting mix of flavours and textures, creating a dining experience stimulating all senses.”
Spanning 8,000sqft, the 180-seat restaurant and bar also boasts three private rooms, perfect for business and social events, and a large outside deck dominated with an illuminating oblong bar which offers mesmerizing views of Victoria Harbour.
