Seoul Gets Second Travelodge Hotel in Myeongdong

The Travelodge brand is continuing its rapid growth in Asia with the opening of Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro, giving business travellers a smart stay in the heart of Seoul.

The expansive new property has 224 guest rooms over three categories – Standard Twin, Superior Twin and Superior Double. Each room is an simple, modern bolthole dressed in earthy tones, and comes with wifi, flatscreens, mini-fridges, ensuite bathrooms and a coffee and tea service.

If you’re hungry, the hotel’s highlight is The Lodge Restaurant. As well as serving a range of dishes, the eatery functions as an all-day social and working space. The property also has its own 24-hour gym and self-service laundromat, which means business travellers will have their every need met.

For off-duty or after hours, the hotel’s also a great jumping-off point for exploring the best of Seoul. Within a ten minutes’ walk, guests can get to the Myeongdong Shopping Street, the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the Myeongdong Cathedral, the Gwangjang Market, the Cheongyechon Stream, and the N Seoul Tower, which means the best of this vibrant city is within easy reach.
