Pullman Opens in Inner Mongolia

Pullman, one of Accor’s premium brands, has opened Pullman Baotou, its first property in North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Baotou is an important industrial and manufacturing base in China as well as a hub and logistics business centre for the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With abundant resources, distinctive cultural relics, science and technological development, it has been showing steady progress with a reputation as China’s steel capital on grassland.

The new Pullman Baotou is situated within a mixed-use complex that includes a shopping mall and commercial tower in the city’s new central business district. It is adjacent to Baotou Municipal Government, International Convention and Exhibition Center, and Olympic Sports Centre Stadium. The hotel’s superb geographical location features a bird’s eye view of Saihantala Ecological Park, Asia’s largest urban wetland grassland. It is a 20-minute drive to the airport and the city’s train station, as well as Baotou’s historic downtown.

Pullman Baotou features interior design by award-winning firm HBA (Hirsch Bedner Associates). Each of its 263 guestrooms and suites enjoys either stunning grassland or garden views. Designed to be uplifting, stimulating and comfortable, guestrooms allow business travellers to connect with this unique setting, with Inner Mongolian pottery and traditional patterns used throughout.

Its light meal bar menu complements a delicious assortment of pastries and take away choices.

Bordeaux House restaurant is a fashionable establishment with the concept of sharing dishes. Featuring authentic ingredients from local markets and from internationally selected produce, with a fusion of skilful American cooking finesse. Bordeaux House’s imported wines pair expertly with its signature steak cuts. Silk Pavilion boasts Huaiyang and fusion cuisine, interpreting Inner Mongolian dishes for contemporary palettes. Its 10 private rooms are perfect for celebrations or business luncheons, while Le Fontainebleau is where guests can indulge in the signature Pullman Active Breakfast with its healthy and balanced menu based on the four key fundamentals of age defence, energy boost, balance, and detox.
