New Gin & Wine Bar for Melbourne Hotel

Hotel Windsor has opened One Eleven Gin & Wine Bar, offering business travellers a new haven for intimate networking.

It has been some time since Hotel Windsor had an offering after dark, and as a Melbourne institution. However, business travellers to Australia’s second-largest city will be able to sate their appetite for locally-produced tipples at One Eleven, an elegant new cocktail divan that boasts a concise menu of house-made bites and an all-Australian gin and wine list.

At the new bar, gin, from distilleries including The Melbourne Gin Company, Archie Rose, Four Pillars, Distillery Botanica, and Adelaide Hills Distillery are paired with three varieties of tonic water and two soda water options from Capi.

At One Eleven, the wine leans towards boutique organic and biodynamic producers that create small quantities, with the beer list following a similar ethos.

Grazing plates including pickled octopus, fried school prawns and chorizo and manchego croquettes– all made within Hotel Windsor’s kitchens – are perfectly suited for after-hours grazing while conserved products from Cuca, charcuterie sourced from Victorian and NSW suppliers, and French cheese are also on offer.
