New Venue for After-Hours Celebrations

Business travellers looking to celebrate big boardroom wins – or just relax after hours – have a sophisticated new space to do so with the opening of the Veuve Clicquot Sunset Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. The new space celebrates Veuve Clicquot Rich, the latest product by the Champagne house, which has been developed as an old-style Champagne that’s a little sweeter, and the ideal base for a refreshing cocktail drink.

Located on the hotel’s 118th floor, next to the popular Ozone bar, the Veuve Cliquot Sunset Lounge is open from 5pm-11pm daily, and features just five stylish cabanas.

Guests can book the cabanas as a special package for two people for two hours. For HK$1,650, the package includes one bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rich with your choice of two ‘mixers’ from cucumber, bell pepper, earl grey tea and grapefruit peel.

When hunger strikes, opt for the tapas package, where for an additional HK$488, guests can choose five options from a selection of cold tapas like smoked salmon and crab roulade, seasame rice toast with smoked aubergine, and sweet chicken salad with nachos; “montaditos” – toasted Spanish crystal bread with various toppings; ‘cones’ filled with foie gras, dried figs and port wine, or tuna tartare with Oscietra caviar; and sushi made from salmon, yellowtail, or scallops.

Guests can also order food from the Ozone bar menu.

While the packages are for two people, additional guests can be accommodated with a minimum spend of HK$800 per guest.

Best of all, visitors can enjoy all the above alongside some of the best views to be had in Hong Kong. www.ritzcarlton.com
