Mark’s Teppanyaki Opens in Taiwan

Mark’s Teppanyaki has opened at the Taipei Marriott Hotel in the heart of the dynamic Dazhi District, reinterpreting classic Japanese cuisine with a modern twist and offering business travellers a scrumptious option for a power lunch.

Blending traditional Teppanyaki with sophisticated French styling, executive chef Lin-Chin Kai has created a menu of delicious and healthy choices, using light oil as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Creative dishes include purple perilla sajori rolls with liquor clams; salt-baked abalone, and vegetables; Canadian foie gras; abalone from Australasia. Guests can pair their meal with an international selection of fine wine, chosen by renowned sommelier Raymond Nien.

The new restaurant offers private booth-style seating, perfect for business gatherings. Guests can also enjoy interacting with the chefs at live cooking stations while their meals are being made.  www.marriott.com
