Italian Indulgence at Galaxy Macau

Galaxy Macau has added a Michelin three-star Italian restaurant, 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA, in its collection of dining experiences, offering Italian cuisine with sophisticated, inventive touches.

Accentuated by the prestigious artworks of Gianluca Miniaci, the elegant, spacious restaurant features a main dining room which sits almost 50 diners and a bar and lounge area which accommodates 20 more. In addition, two private dining rooms host ten and eight diners respectively.

Helmed by renowned chef BOMBANA Umberto, the restaurant features a two-course business lunch menu and à la carte and degustation dinner menus. For special occasions, diners can also select the exquisite seven-course white truffle menu, which feature highly sought-after truffles from Alba in Piedmont. This indulgent experience includes delicacies such as Confit of “Taiyouran” Organic Egg, Jerusalem Artichoke Risotto, “Fassone Veal” Tenderloin, and White Truffle Ice Cream, all made with some of the freshest Alba white truffles in the world.

“Galaxy Macau is where discerning visitors go to experience more luxury and more indulgences than anywhere else in town,” says senior vice president of hospitality for Galaxy Macau Roger Lienhard. “The opening of a signature fine dining experience, like 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA, shows how committed we are to providing the absolute best in international cuisine for our valued guests. We believe the majestic ambience of Galaxy Macau makes it the perfect venue for chef BOMBANA’s first restaurant in Macau, and we wish him and this venture a great success.”

8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA can also be found in Hong Kong. Since its opening in 2010, the restaurant has been recognised as one of the best Italian dining experiences in the world. It has ranked top ten in “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” for three years, and has received recognition from the Miele Guide to Asia’s Top 20 Restaurants. www.galaxymacau.com
