InterContinental HK Offers Sunday Gourmet Delights

After a week of working hard, there is nothing better than pampering your palates amidst a relaxing environment with your colleagues and friends. InterContinental Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui now features Sunday @ InterContinental Hong Kong, which offers a range of brunches and lunches across its celebrated restaurants and venues.

Offering stunning harbour views, the Sunday Champagne Brunch at Harbourside features free-flowing Perrier-Joüet Champagne, beers, wines, fresh juices and soft drinks, as well as hand-made sushi, freshly sliced sashimi and a selection of chilled fresh seafood. Guests can enjoy dishes prepared à la minute at “action stations”, which serve pan-fried foie gras, grilled seafood and the signature nine-layer Korean Seafood Tower. The brunch also boasts three kinds of baked oysters; eggs benedict; a carving station with long-bone USDA prime beef, lamb, BBQ ham with honey, and roasted chicken; and a charcuterie selection with 12 kinds of cheese from France and the finest ham and salami from Italy and Spain. A decadent dessert buffet is also available, including crepes made-to-order and a chocolate fountain, plus an extravagant assortment of freshly baked pastries and cakes.

The hotel’s one-Michelin star restaurant, Spoon by Alain Ducasse, offers a sophisticated all-inclusive lunch set prepared by executive chef Stéphane Gortina and pastry chef Oliver Lannes. This culinary experience kicks off with viennoiseries and homemade bakery items, served with farm fresh cottage cheese, jam and honey; and homemade organic muesli. Next is a selection of homemade bread and Bordier butter, served with organic eggs and salmon gravlax. For the main course, guests can choose from a selection of meat, steamed seafood, and oven-baked cookpot of cereal and local seasonal vegetables, followed by fresh mixed berries and seasonal sorbet.

The Spoon Sunday Lunch is inclusive of a welcome glass of Alain Ducasse Champagne or Burgey Cerdon (an exclusive rosé sparkling wine by Bernard Rondeau), as well as a choice of two white wines and two red wines selected by chief sommelier Mathieu Ginglardi.

For those looking for a hearty Sunday roast should not go past the Steak House winebar + grill, which offers an all-American themed semi-buffet weekend lunch, showcasing the finest meat freshly seared on the charcoal grill. Guests can enjoy the elaborate Salad Bar and lobster bisque with vegetables, before choosing one of ten main courses prepared à la minute on the charcoal grill. There is also a tempting dessert buffet, which features a decadent selection by executive pastry chef Cyril Dupuis.  Also included in the lunch are free-flowing Perrier-Joüet Champagne and red wine, plus various homemade milkshakes, juices and non-alcoholic beverages.
