Business travellers in Hong Kong can now enjoy a range of new home-aged gin barrel cocktails at InterContinental Hong Kong’s Lobby Lounge, with spectacular panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong Island skyline.

The hotel’s beverage manager Cadition Law and team have home-aged Hayman’s London classic dry gin, letting it mature for 180 days in a Maker’s Mark bourbon barrel and Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel. The home-aged gin from the Bourbon barrels is then used to create a selection of modern cocktails, including Perfect Barrel Gin – Tini, a concoction of whisky barrel Hayman’s gin, angostura bitters, grapefruit bitters and orange bitters; and Lady & Gentleman, made from whisky barrel Hayman’s gin, limoncello, lime cordial, cranberry juice and triple sec syrup.

The new cocktails are available in the Lobby Lounge until May 29. In the early evening (18:00-21:00), guests can enjoy soulful instrumental as well as cool electronic jazz and techno music. https://hongkong-ic.intercontinental.com
