New Melbourne Hotel Prepares for Opening

Hotel Chadstone Melbourne is now accepting reservations with the first guests to check-in for their stay at the city’s newest luxury destination in November 2019.

The 12-storey, 250-room MGallery by Sofitel hotel will include a rooftop conservatory bar, swimming pool and wellness centre, as well as panoramic views from Port Phillip Bay to the CBD and across the Dandenong Ranges, when it opens later in the year, setting a new benchmark for luxury accommodation outside Melbourne’s centre.

Every detail of the hotel’s design has been considered throughout the lobby, function spaces and suites including a bespoke digital art installation upon entry intended to evolve seasonally alongside Chadstone – The Fashion Capital.

Guest rooms will feature custom lighting, brass and leather finishes, lavish Appellees amenities and locally-sourced minibar items featuring renowned Victorian produce. Hotel Chadstone Melbourne is also aiming for a 5 Star Green Star Design and As Built rating, the first hotel in Australia to target the 5 Star Green Star rating.

Construction continues on ‘The Link’, a covered pedestrian walkway connecting Hotel Chadstone Melbourne with the retail precinct and Tower One – Chadstone’s commercial office tower.

MGallery by Sofitel is AccorHotels’ collection of exclusive, design-led boutique hotels. Once open, Hotel Chadstone Melbourne will become the 11th MGallery hotel in Australia, and join other iconic addresses including Hotel Lindrum Melbourne, Harbour Rocks Hotel in Sydney, as well as others in Paris, Amsterdam, Bangkok and Vietnam.
