Garuda Indonesia to Launch Flights to Mumbai

Indonesian carrier, Garuda Indonesia will provide the first direct route between Jakarta, Indonesia and Mumbai, India, starting December 12, 2016, offering business travellers convenience transiting between the two major cities.

The new service will be served through Bangkok three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, by the airline’s Boeing 738 with a two-class cabin configuration featuring its renowned Business Class service concept.

Indonesia is currently one of the largest markets to India with 350,000 people currently travelling to the region on both business and leisure. This new direct route will boost the economic activities between the two countries.
