Dubai Named the World’s Most Cosmopolitan City

Home to over 200 nationalities from around the world, with 83 percent of its residents from a foreign country, Dubai has been named the world’s most cosmopolitan city in the latest World Migration Report.

Dubai International Airport is now the busiest airport in the world, overtaking London Heathrow only a few months ago. The city is home to some of the world’s best hotel brands, including Palazzo Versace, Viceroy,  Atlantis, St Regis, and the soon-to-be-open W Hotel and The Langham, offering corporate travellers a wide range of choices in accommodation.

Business travellers can also have a round-the-world culinary journey in Dubai, which boasts over 5,400 restaurants with a fusion of global flavours. Many celebrity chefs have opened their first international restaurants in Dubai, including Marco Pierre White and Gary Rhodes from Britain.

Ranked as one of the safest cities in the world within the top 20, Dubai is a safe destination for business travellers. They can also pick up a variety of gifts on the go thanks to The Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the world. www.visitdubai.com
