Air China launched its first direct route from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to San Jose, California, allowing business travellers in Shanghai the chance to fly directly to North America.

The flight operates with an Air China Airbus A330-200. Flights CA829/30 operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The Shanghai-San Jose flight departs from Shanghai at 13:30 local time and arrives in San Jose at 10:40 local time. The return trip departs from San Jose at 12:30 to arrive in Shanghai at 16:40 the next day. http://www.airchina.com/
