A New Afternoon Tea at The Langham, HK

The Langham, Hong Kong has teamed up with renowned Champagne producer Perrier-Jouët to launch the “Origami Afternoon Tea Party” in the hotel’s Palm Court lobby lounge, ideal for business meetings falling rather close to the festive season.

An evergreen Christmas tree takes centre stage of the Palm Court and decorated in origami artistry created by award-wining origami artist Kade Chan. Aligning with the brand’s spirit, the “Origami Afternoon Tea Party” denotes a vision of artistic gastronomy incorporating beauty and dining. The intrinsic charm, vitality and elegance of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut pairs perfectly with executive chef Pedro Samper’s selection of baked to perfection pastries and cakes, as well as savoury delicacies, all served on the hotel’s signature “Langham Rose” Wedgwood tea ware.

The Wedgwood Deluxe Afternoon Tea is priced at HK$458 (US$59) per person and HK$758 (US$97) for two persons, including a glass of Perrier-Jouët, NV, Brut Champagne, and the Ladurée Afternoon Tea by Langham is priced at HK$298 (US$38) per person and HK$538 (US$69) for two persons. www.langhamhotels.com
