Hilton Opens its 200th Hotel in Asia Pacific

Waldorf Astoria Chengdu has opened as the Hilton’s 200th hotel in Asia Pacific, offering business travellers a choice of luxury accommodation options in the capital of China’s Sichuan province.

Located in Chengdu’s Hi-tech Zone, the 289-room hotel is housed within the high-end in99 Plaza, a 190,000sqm mixed-use development comprising a retail mall, office towers, and apartment towers. The hotel also enjoys easy access to the city, with the nearest Metro station located an eight-minute walk from the hotel. The Southern Railway Station, New Century Global Centre, and New International Exhibition & Convention Centre are also a stone’s throw away.

Each of the guestrooms at Waldorf Astoria Chengdu is elegantly-furnished and features the signature Waldorf Astoria bed, a walk-in closet, marble bathrooms, and modern entertainment amenities.

For events, the hotel offers a grand ballroom and five meeting rooms, with a combined area of over 2,000sqm. Private elevators from the lobby and car park provide swift access to the hotel’s meeting areas.

The new Waldorf Astoria property features six restaurants and bars, including Brasserie 99, a European-style dining space featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and innovative international flavours. The Peacock Alley Lobby Lounge and Bar serves the signature Waldorf Astoria Afternoon Tea in an elegant environment with marble, brass, and Art Deco detailing.
