Hong Kong Airlines to Launch Direct Flights to Los Angeles, USA

Hong Kong Airlines will operate direct flights between Hong Kong and Los Angeles, USA, commencing December 18, 2017, further expanding its network in North America offering west-bound travellers another flight option connecting Hong Kong and the West Coast.

From December 18, 2017 to January 15, 2018, flights will depart Hong Kong every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 12:10, to arrive in Los Angeles at 08:55; return flights will take off at 10:45 to arrive in Hong Kong at 18:20 the next day.

From January 16, 2018, to March 10, 2018, daily flights Hong Kong – Los Angeles flights will leave Hong Kong at 12:10 and will arrive in Los Angeles at 08:55; while return flights will leave at 10:45 to arrive in Hong Kong at 18:20 the next day.

From March 11, 2018 to March 24, 2018, daily flights will take off at 12:10 to arrive in Los Angeles at 09:55; while inbound flights will depart at 11:45 to arrive in Hong Kong at 18:20 the next day. All times local.

“Following the success of Vancouver route, we are excited to set up the first destination in the continental United States to further expand our international network,” says Li Dianchun, chief commercial officer of Hong Kong Airlines. “The launch of Los Angeles route will strengthen the connection with our well-developed Asia Pacific network, thus providing more travel options for business, leisure, academic, or family travellers. It will also serve to promote Hong Kong Airlines’ brand image and passion in service to more parts of the world.”

The new route will be served by an Airbus A350.
