Vietjet has launched flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Tainan, a special municipality located in southern Taiwan and a major high-tech industrial hub in the city.
The Ho Chi Minh City – Tainan City route is operated every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a flight duration of about three hours and 15 minutes. The outbound flight departs from Ho Chi Minh City at 10:45am and arrives in Tainan City at 3pm, while the return flight takes off from Tainan City at 4pm and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 6.15pm.
The new route is the second connection between Ho Chi Minh City and Taiwan. Vietjet currently operates 54 domestic and international routes and has a fleet of 36 aircraft, including A320s and A321s. www.vietjetair.com
