DFS Launches The Whiskey House at Hong Kong International Airport

The Whiskey House has landed at DFS, Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), allowing business travellers the chance to explore their palates while relaxing and rejuvenating between flights.

With hundreds of premium whiskeys from dozens of brands around the globe, The Whiskey House at DFS is an exclusive concept created by DFS in partnership with William Grant & Sons. There are over 250 distinct whiskeys to explore, from 50 of the finest international brands.

Visitors can experience The Whiskey House’s expansive collection first hand, with complimentary samplings of the more than 40 whiskeys available for tasting daily, while also encouraged to join the regular calendar of events and opportunities, which include blind tasting sessions led by passionate and experienced brand ambassadors, meeting the whiskey experts and joining their exclusive tasting sessions every weekend.

Guests at The Whisky House will benefit from DFS’ highly trained staff, who undergo extensive education in the world of whiskey and develop their skills through studies with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, and The Whisky Ambassador, the UK’s only accredited training course focused solely on whiskey.

Ten new whiskeys were launched exclusively with DFS in November. Other travel retail exclusives available to The Whiskey House shoppers include over 70 whiskey varieties and three rare single malt whiskeys selected for DFS’ The Whiskey House at HKIA.
