Ritz-Carlton to Open a 288-Room Hotel in Xian

Ritz-Carlton has signed a management agreement for a new 288-room hotel in one of the ancient Chinese capitals, Xian, scheduled to open in 2018, offering business travellers another option for luxurious and convenient accommodation during their stay in the city.

Once a capital known as Chang’an or Eternal Peace, and now capital of its province, Shaanxi, Xian marks the eastern end of the ancient Silk Road. Today, it still sits at a key crossroad to one of the country’s most important trading corridors that stretches from the Yellow Sea to Kazakhstan. www.ritzcarlton.com/
