Qatar Expands its UAE Network

Qatar Airways has launched a four-times-weekly non-stop service between Doha and Ras Al Khaimah, its fifth destination in the United Arab Emirates, offering more choice for urban warriors travelling to the country.

The new route is operated on every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with an Airbus A320, which features a two-class configuration, with 12 recliner seats in business class and 132 seats in economy. The outbound flight, QR1120, departs from Doha at 20:15 and arrives in Ras Al Khaimah at 22:30; while the return leg, QR1121, leaves Ras Al Khaimah at 23:30 and lands in Doha at 23:45.

“We are delighted to launch our newest route in the United Arab Emirates – Ras Al Khaimah,” says Qatar Airways group chief executive Akbar Al Baker. “Qatar Airways’ network expansion will undoubtedly increase the flexibility and choice for our passengers to travel to and from different Emirates in the UAE, and we look forward to enhancing passengers’ travel opportunities from Europe, Asia and the Americas to new tourist destinations in the region, such as Ras Al Khaimah.”

Qatar Airways now offers up to 200 weekly flights from Doha to the UAE, including the new four flights to Ras Al Khaimah; 105 flights a week to Dubai International Airport; 28 flights a week to Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport; 42 flights a week to Abu Dhabi; and 21 flights a week to Sharjah. www.qatarairways.com
