Priority Pass Gains Access to Lounges at Guangzhou Baiyun

Priority Pass owners Collinson has partnered with Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Business Travel Service Co, one of China’s leading airport hospitality providers.

This partnership will provide Priority Pass members access to seven of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Business Travel Service’s premium airport lounges, including its latest addition (launching in July 2023), located in Terminal 1 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

The partnership is timely as travel recovery in China picks up pace. Recent news reports have highlighted that 50.3 million international and domestic air trips have been made in April this year, equivalent to 94.6% of the April 2019 volume. In addition to this, travellers in China are now seeking more premium experiences that add value to their journey.

A Collinson study that surveyed over 5,400 frequent travellers across seven Asia Pacific markets (1,021 of which are China-based respondents) revealed that airport lounge access is the number one most desirable travel benefit at the airport – 69% of travellers in China feel valued as a customer when they are given access to an airport lounge.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Business Travel Service Co Ltd’s portfolio of airport lounges has a variety of well-curated spaces. Visitors to its airport lounges enjoy tea at an exquisitely designed teahouse, take advantage of designated rest areas and massage zones, or even choose to catch up on work at their dedicated business travel centres.

“China is a significant market for Collinson and we are delighted to strengthen our footprint through this direct partnership with Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Business Travel Service,” says Colin Dai, Collinson’s Country Director for China. “Just last month, during Golden Week, over 159 million trips were made in China alone, signifying that the return of travel is well and truly underway. We look forward to continuing to delight our members with exceptional travel experiences to ensure an unforgettable journey.”

Priority Pass members travelling both domestically and internationally will be able to access these seven premium airport lounges located at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. This partnership further strengthens Priority Pass’s wide network of 1,300 airport lounges and travel experiences globally, with over 500 in Asia Pacific.
