Park Hyatt Bangkok to Open in 2017

Soon to be the city’s newest luxury retreat from Bangkok’s bustling cityscape, Park Hyatt Bangkok will open in early 2017, offering a home-away-from-home for business travellers staying in the city’s CBD.

Located in the new Central Embassy building, which occupies the former gardens of the British Embassy in Nai Lert Park, the hotel is connected to a luxury shopping mall and entertainment centre, below which offer 45 bars and restaurants. The hotel boasts 222 luxurious rooms and suites that provide spaces to relax, re-energize, and connect; the hotel’s 32 premier suites boast wraparound windows offering unobstructed views of Thailand’s bustling capital.

The hotel exterior, designed by London-based Amanda Levete Architects, is characterised by an assembly of extruding aluminum tiles, which will turn Park Hyatt Bangkok into a modern, architectural landmark for the region. The hotel’s modern interiors have been designed by New-York design duo Yabu Pushelberg to create a calm and stylish environment with touches of traditional Thai heritage.

Guests will enjoy a range of dining and entertainment options, including The Bar, specialising in vintage wines, champagnes, and creative cocktails, making for a perfect spot for an after-work drink; the Embassy Room, which offers Western- and Asian-influenced cuisine; the Living Room, a light-filled space that offers light meals throughout the day; and the Penthouse Bar & Grill, a 3.5-floor signature entertainment complex comprising a speakeasy, VIP area, and restaurant with an open show kitchen.

Park Hyatt Bangkok features 2,000 sqm of venue spaces that are ideal for creative events, including an elegant pillarless ballroom with direct car park access. The hotel will also feature lush greenery and tropical ambience, which will be complemented by a 30-metre infinity pool.
