Park Hotels Arrive in South Korea

Park Hotel Group has expanded its portfolio to South Korea with the opening of the Park Hotel Yeongdeungpo in Seoul.

The new-build hotel, located within the Yeongdeungpo district, is just a 10-minute drive away from Yeouido financial hub, and offers guests easy access to numerous landmarks and attractions, including IFC Shopping Mall, historical National Assembly Building and 63 Square, one of Korea’s tallest skyscrapers, which features an art gallery, an aquarium, a performance hall, and an observatory with panoramic views of Seoul.

The 14-story hotel features 140 rooms and family studios, as well as three F&B outlets, a 24-hour fitness room, a business centre, a meeting room and a banquet hall.

“Park Hotel Yeongdeungpo, Seoul marks the first of the many Park Hotel Group flags we look forward to flying across South Korea and we are privileged to partner with Chairman Min and K2 Group to launch our foray in this market,” says Allen Law, chief executive officer, Park Hotel Group.

“With rising wanderlust among South Koreans, our strong interest to expand in this country highlights the importance of South Koreans outbound travellers, that make up a significant proportion of our guests staying at our hotels and resorts across Asia Pacific including Singapore, Japan, Maldives, and Hong Kong. Through expansion, we want to attract more South Koreans with our signature culturally-rooted, globally-inspired hospitality and service when they travel.”
