Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill Opens

Accor has announced the opening of the brand new Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill, giving business travellers heading to Australia’s biggest city a comfortable new place to stay.

Located in The Fiddler precinct which is one of the city’s major dining and entertaining hubs, the new hotel offers guests functional facilities and great lifestyle choices for after hours. Guests are also within walking distance of the new Metro that offers a fast, seamless connection into Sydney’s CBD.

The new-build hotel has been designed by Architect Mostaghim & Associates and boasts 78 contemporary guest rooms across several categories, all of which come with all the expected mod-cons, including LED TVs, data ports, wifi and work desks.

For business travellers, Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill has plenty of facilities to offer after-hours fun, including a fully-equipped fitness centre and swimming pool. Within the hotel, guests can relax over drinks and nibbles at The Lounge, a contemporary bar with an exclusive VIP area.

For full meals, though, guests will have access to the range of dining options available at The Fiddler precinct. There’s pub grub at The Irish, alfresco dining at The Courtyard and The Beer Garden and The Sports Bar, and Italian woodfired pizza at Al’s The Pizzeria.

MICE travellers looking to host events are also catered to with the Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill`s Greenway event space that seats up to 230 guests in a theatre-style format or 20 in a banquet setup. Of course, if that doesn’t meet your needs, you can also access The Fiddler’s other spaces which include the lavish Glasshouse, and the more casual Verandah or Lounge.

Travellers who are members of the Le Club Accor loyalty program will be able to earn points and benefit from member privileges while staying at the new hotel.

Accor’s Chief Operating Officer Pacific, Simon McGrath, said the new Mercure is a strategic and welcome addition to the Group and will positively contribute to the economic growth of Sydney’s North West.

“Sydney’s North West is booming and the opening of this new internationally-branded midscale hotel signifies Accor’s confidence in this bourgeoning pocket of greater Sydney. By injecting new hotel supply, the area will positively benefit from the economic and tourism growth associated with the creation of new jobs and services.”
