LATAM Resumes Sydney – Auckland – Santiago Flights

After a lengthy suspension during the pandemic, South American carrier LATAM will resume flights between Auckland, New Zealand, and Sydney, Australia with Santiago, Chile. 

After almost two years of pausing its passenger services from Australia and New Zealand due to the Covid-19 pandemic, LATAM will resume its passenger operations between Sydney, Auckland and Santiago beginning March 29.

LATAM flights will operate a Boeing 787-9 aircraft three times weekly and are looking to increase the schedule to five flights weekly from July 1, 2022.  The service will depart Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Sydney as LA800 at 11.35. It will depart Auckland at 16.40 before arriving in Santiago at 13.40. The return service, LA801, departs Chile on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays as LA801 at 00.40. It will then depart Auckland at 05.15, arriving in Sydney at 09.35.
