Korean Extend China Airlines Codeshare

Korean Air has extended its codeshare agreements with China Airlines of Taiwan that will see increased flights from April 20, between major corporate and industry hubs Seoul and Kaohsiung and also between Busan and Taipei.

The airlines’ previous codeshare agreement offered a total of 25 flights per week between Seoul and Taipei , with fourteen flights operated by Korean Air and eleven by China Airlines. The new codeshare agreement will allow Korean Air to provide an additional twenty-one flights between South Korea and Taiwan (seven flights on the Seoul – Kaohsiung route and fourteen flights on Busan – Taipei route), offering more flexibility, convenience and choice to business passengers .

In addition, members of Korean Air’s frequent flyer program Skypass will accumulate points when using the codeshare agreement to purchase Korean Air tickets for China Airlines flights.

Korean Air currently has codeshare partnerships on 195 routes with 33 airlines worldwide, including Air France, Aeromexico and China Southern.
