Ibis Hotels Open in Seoul and Busan

Accor Ambassador Korea has launched ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun and ibis Ambassador Busan Haeundae, providing business executives with more budget accommodation options when they travel in Korea.

“The two openings reflect the successful partnership between AccorHotels and Ambassador Hotel Group,” says Patrick Basset, chief operating officer of AccorHotels, Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia. “The ibis brand was first introduced to South Korea ten years ago, the dual openings of ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun and ibis Busan Haeundae will give corporate and leisure guests added hotel choices when they travel to the country. The brand continues to innovate constantly to offer its guests even more modernity, comfort and availability.”

Located in the heart of Seoul, next to Jung-Gu and Gwangjang markets, the ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun features 242 contemporary guest rooms, with ibis Sweet Beds, mini-refrigerators, rain showers and complimentary wifi. The hotel is also home to two food and beverage outlets: Oopen restaurant, which offers a variety of pastas, grills and Asian cuisines, while the hip Grab & Go bar is the place from which to chill with a pre-dinner drink or a coffee in between meetings. For business events, the two state-of-the-art modular function rooms offer natural lighting and can accommodate up to 70 people.

The 237-room ibis Ambassador Busan Haeundae, owned by Dongnam Holdings, is a six-minute walk to the beautiful Haeundae beach, located close to a subway station and Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre. Featuring a Mexican restuarant, a bar, a spa and a gym, the hotel also offers two flexible meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 180 people in theatre style and 120 guests for corporate events. www.ibis.com
