Hainan Airlines Launches Flights to LA

Hainan Airlines has launched direct flights from Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province in south-central China, to Los Angeles, offering more convenience for business travellers bound for the west coast of the United States.

The new twice-weekly service is operated on every Monday and Thursday, with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring 36 flat-bed seats in business class and 177 standard seats in economy. The duration of the flight is approximately 13.5 hours. The outbound service, HU7923, will depart from Changsha at 13:00 and arrive in Los Angeles at 10:35; while the return leg, HU7924, will leave Los Angeles at 12:35 and land in Changsha at 19:20 the next day.

“Hainan Airlines has been expanding actively in international markets by progressively adding flights connecting Beijing with Seattle, Chicago, Boston and San Jose, as well as routes from Shanghai to Seattle and Boston,” says Hainan Airlines deputy chairman Mu Weigang. “With the new Changsha-Los Angeles route, Hainan Airlines has become one of the major airlines providing services between China and the US. We believe that the new route will further enhance economic, cultural and technological exchanges between the two countries.” www.hainanairlines.com
