EVA Air Receives SKYTRAX 5-Star Ranking

Taiwan’s leading independent airline EVA Air has been awarded with SKYTRAX’s prestigious 5-Star Airline Ranking, becoming the world’s eighth airline to join an elite group of carriers that are recognised as “the best of the best”.

SKYTRAX – an international air transport standards and quality rating organisation – recognised EVA Air’s potential for five stars as a result of a number of in-depth analyses across the carrier’s product and service delivery. The airline rating organisation sent auditors to fly EVA Air on multiple routes from different gateways, sampling all cabin classes during a year-long process.

Recognising their high standards from the very first review in 2008, EVA Air was previously amongst only 37 airlines to carry a four-star rating. However, through much hard work and dedication, the airline now carries SKYTRAX’s most prestigious ranking for the highest standards of both airport and on-board product, together with consistently high standards of front-line staff service across all areas.

“EVA Air is being certified as the eighth 5-Star Airline in the world, joining an esteemed and exclusive group of the leading international carriers,” says SYKTRAX CEO Edward Plaisted. “EVA passengers enjoy a high-quality product, supported by outstanding 5-Star staff service in both the airport and on-board environments. The 5-Star Airline symbol is recognized throughout the world by passengers, media, airlines and the travel industry as a whole. We are trusting EVA and giving it a lot of responsibility to maintain these high standards. I have confidence that EVA passengers will continue to enjoy 5-Star travel experiences.” www.evaair.com
