Emirates will launch daily flights from Dubai to Yangon and Hanoi, starting August 3, 2016, opening up connections for business travellers to access the capital cities of Myanmar and Vietnam.
Operating a Boeing 777-300ER, which offers eight closed suites in First Class, 42 angle-flat seats in Business Class and 310 standard seats in Economy Class, flight EK388 will depart daily from Dubai at 02:50, arriving at Yangon International Airport at 11:05. The service will then depart from Yangon at 12:35 and arrive at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport at 14:50.
The return flight, EK389, will depart Hanoi at 22:50, arriving at Yangon at 00:20 the next day, before departing from Yangon at 01:50 and arriving at Dubai International Airport at 05:05.
“With the opening of this service, Emirates will enhance its Southeast Asia offering and offer more choices for travellers in Myanmar and Vietnam to conveniently connect to 39 cities in Europe, 16 in the Middle East as well as a number of destinations across our extensive network in Africa and the Americas,” says Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president for strategic planning, revenue optimisation and aeropolitical affairs.
The new service will expand the airline’s network in Southeast Asia to 12 cities in seven countries, including Cebu and Clark in the Philippines which start on March 30, 2016. www.emirates.com
