Emirates Unveils Premium Economy Seats at ATM

Emirates has revealed new Premium Economy seats at Arabian Travel Market 2021.

The highly-anticipated Emirates premium economy seat boasts a pitch of up to 40-inches and a width of 19.5 inches. The new seat design also offers travellers the ability to recline into a comfortable cradle position with ample room to stretch out.

The new seats are covered in cream-coloured anti-stain leather with automobile inspired stitching details and a wood panel finishing similar to Business Class, all designed to provide optimal comfort and support with six-way adjustable headrests, calf rests and footrests. Business travellers will also find other functional details, including easily accessible in-seat charging points, a wide dining table and side cocktail table, and a personal storage area.

In addition to the new Premium Economy seats, Emirates used the event as an opportunity to showcase its Boeing 777-300ER game-changer First Class fully enclosed private suites, its Boeing 777 Business Class seat, and the newly refreshed A380 OnBoard lounge, along with other iconic products such as the First Class Shower Spa and the latest version of the game-changer Economy Class seats.

“Our Premium Economy product was carefully developed in keeping with Emirates’ brand positioning as a full-service airline of the highest quality,” says Sir Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline. “Our First, Business and Economy experiences reset industry standards when they were introduced, and we are confident that our Premium Economy will also make its mark as a distinct premium offering. Until we have a viable number of seats in our inventory to bring to market, we plan to offer the Emirates Premium Economy experience as a complimentary upgrade to valued customers. We’ll also deploy our newest A380 aircraft on various routes so that our customers can experience our latest offering in all classes.”

Visitors to the Emirates product exhibits will be able to try out all of the products on the stand, and all seats and surfaces will be cleaned and sanitised after each use. In keeping with ATM’s stringent health and safety protocols, the Emirates stand will operate at a limited capacity at all times to ensure proper social distancing of visitors as they explore the products.

Visitors can also try out their Emirates knowledge through an interactive 60-second challenge played on a touch screen at the stand.
