Boasting a contemporary design persona by HBA Architecture that takes its inspiration from the city’s iconic West Lake, Cordis Hangzhou Sci-Tech City features 186 guest rooms and suites, ranging from 36 to 190sqm and each boasting signature Dream Beds, ample workspaces, and spacious bathrooms.
The room categories range from Superior to Premier and One-Bedroom Suites and also include a 190sqm Presidential Suite that is luxuriously appointed with a spacious living room, an exclusive dining area, a private kitchen and an expansive bedroom.
Ideal for corporate travellers, the new hotel has six meeting venues, a 600-sqm pillar-less ballroom that can cater to 300 guests, and a business centre. All event spaces offer advanced audiovisual and technical equipment to suit every occasion. The pillarless grand ballroom is equipped with a 3.6m x 6.6m LED screen and can be flexibly divided into three individual meeting rooms. The other four meeting rooms feature plenty of natural lighting and an unblocked city view.
The new Cordis hotel also features two restaurants, including signature Chinese eatery Ming Court, home to authentic Cantonese and local cuisine prepared by the group’s award-winning Chinese culinary team as well as seven private dining rooms; and Cordis Market, an all-day dining restaurant that offers a customized, cook-to-order interactive buffet experience. Here, the menu includes daily selected dishes that feature healthy and seasonal fresh ingredients while a range of specially selected fine wines from France and Australia are available to accompany the menu.
Ideal for casual catch-ups and meetings, The Bar offers a diverse range of curated fine wines, vintage whiskeys and innovative cocktails. The hotel’s executive chef has also created bar snacks and finger food to complement the drinks menu.
The hotel also offers a variety of recreational options, including a heated 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a 24-hour gym outfitted with the latest equipment; and a signature Chuan Spa with three luxurious private treatment rooms, one dedicated foot massage suite, and a menu of contemporary and Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments.
