Carlson Rezidor Signs Four Hotels in Indonesia

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has signed a multiple-property deal with Saphir Group for Radisson RED Jakarta CBD, Radisson RED Bali Legian Camakila, Radisson Bali Legian Camakila, and Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa. The two Radisson RED properties will be new builds, while the latter two will open by January 1, 2016.

“We are pleased to welcome on board a new partner in the key market of Indonesia, where strong growth opportunities are supported by the government’s pro-tourism measures,” says Thorsten Kirschke, president, Asia Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. “With this four-property deal, that includes three hotels in Bali, one of the country’s top tourist destinations, as well as one in the gateway city of Jakarta, we continue to reinforce our presence in Indonesia, a key market for us in Asia Pacific.”

Opening next year in Bali, Radisson Bali Legian Camakila is a 120-room beachfront property, with a lagoon pool and a beachfront pool; while the 190-room Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa is nestled within lush landscaped gardens in the Nusa Dua region. The resort will offer guests direct access to the beach as well as a beachfront swimming pool.

Expected to open in 2018, Radisson RED Bali Legian Camakila is a 130-room new build beachfront hotel, offering easy access to dive sites and a range of sea sports such as waterskiing and surfing. Located in the heart of Jakarta, the 36-room Radisson RED Jakarta CBD is expected to open in 2019, featuring a Hi All Gallery where locally-inspired art is incorporated into the overall design. www.carlsonrezidor.com.
