British Airways has introduced its own brand of gin, British Airways Gin, which is exclusively served to the airline’s First customers, from the bar of the Concorde Room at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.
The signature spirit has been blended for British Airways by the award-winning Cambridge Distillery, the world’s first ‘gin tailor’, following extensive taste tests with first-class customers at the Concorde Room bar at the airline’s lounge at London Healthrow’s Terminal 5. The main botanicals used in the herbaceous tipple (aside from juniper) are basil, rosemary, and thyme, which are all grown in the distillery gardens in Cambridge.

“We label each bottle with the BA Speedmarque and wax seal them by hand here in Cambridge to create a truly unique product,” says William Lowe, master distiller, and owner of the Cambridge Distillery.
A gin and tonic is one of the most popular alcoholic drinks served on British Airways flights, with the airline’s customers sipping more than three million of them every year.
