Air India Changes Australian schedules

Air India is revamping its services to Australia by offering new non-stop services from Sydney and Melbourne to Delhi. The airline will also add a fourth weekly Sydney-Delhi service.

Beginning May 17, the direct Sydney-Delhi service will run Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while the Melbourne-Delhi services will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Currently, Air India offers six weekly services from Melbourne and Sydney to Delhi, although these are stopover routes between the two Australian cities. With the new services, Melbourne will have three weekly flights to Delhi, while Sydney will have four, although now all services will be direct. www.airindia.in
