Air Canada Launches Non-Stop Flights to Delhi

The country’s largest carrier, Air Canada has launched direct flights between Vancouver and Delhi, India, offering business travellers the shortest elapsed flying time from Vancouver to the Indian subcontinent.

Air Canada’s second route between Canada and India, the Vancouver-Delhi flights are operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft in a three-cabin configuration, with 30 International Business Class individual lie-flat suites, 21 Premium Economy seats and 247 Economy Class seats.

The airline offers passengers on Vancouver-Delhi and Toronto-Delhi flights Indian dishes by Vancouver chef Vikram Vij. The Indian food complements the signature creations by internationally renowned Canadian chef David Hawksworth in International Business Class.

“Our non-stop flight, coupled with our streamlined and seamless connections process at YVR translates to a savings of 3-5 hours compared to itineraries with connections in Europe or Asia,” says Benjamin Smith, president, passenger airlines at Air Canada. www.aircanada.com/
