Air Astana Launches Meet & Greet Airport Service

Perfect for business travellers bound for Almaty or Nur-Sultan airports in Kazakhstan, Air Astana has launched a new airport meet and greet service.

Air Astana introduces the Meet & Greet service for passengers on arrival and departure at Almaty and Nur-Sultan airports today. Similar services will also be available at Frankfurt airport. The new service is intended to smooth the passenger journey through the various airports, with effortless completion of mandatory procedures currently required for international travel.

In Almaty and Nur-Sultan, departure and arrival escorts will meet passengers at the designated entrance and exit points within the terminal, with assistance provided for baggage handling, check-in and boarding. In Frankfurt, passengers using the transit service will be met by the escort at the aircraft door or entrance to the terminal, with expedited transfer procedures to the connecting flight for both passengers and their baggage. The fee for the Meet & Greet service is  €40 (US$47) per passenger at all three airports.

Air Astana, the flag carrier of Kazakhstan, is a full-service international and domestic carrier and its low-cost division, FlyArystan is rapidly growing in the domestic market. The airline operates a fleet of 34 aircraft including Boeing 767, Airbus A320/A320neo, Airbus A321/A321neo/ A321LR and Embraer E190-E2.

Air Astana became the first carrier from Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Eastern Europe to be awarded a prestigious 4-Star rating by SkyTrax at its World Airline Awards 2012 and was also named ‘The Best Airline in Central Asia and India’ that year. Both achievements were repeated in consecutive years though until 2019. Air Astana received a Travellers’ Choice Awards for three years in a row between 2018 and 2020.
