The 296-room AC Hotel by Marriott Tokyo Ginza has opened, marking the debut of this European design-driven brand in Japan.
Located in Tokyo’s upscale Ginza district, the AC Hotel Tokyo Ginza‘s modern glass and stone façade makes it a standout landmark in the heart of the capital’s exceptional shopping, culinary and fashion scene.
Embracing the brand’s focus on elegant and purposeful design, the AC Lobby welcomes guests with an art wall that symbolises the stunning lights of Ginza. Upon check-in, guests are presented with pâte de fruits served with either an aperitif or digestif, providing a taste of European hospitality.

Guest rooms are thoughtfully designed to maximize relaxation and each features large windows that let in plenty of natural sunlight during the day and stunning city views by night. Other features include a 55-inch flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can pick up their own lavender sachet at the lobby to indulge in AC Hotel’s signature lavender turndown service, a thoughtful touch that prepares guests for complete relaxation at bedtime.
Guests can indulge in freshly baked croissants imported from France, sliced Prosciutto, and a delectable local breakfast in the AC Kitchen, a multi-functional space designed to look like a residential kitchen, adding to the hotel’s sense of a home away from home. AC Kitchen also serves lunch and dinner, with menus highlighting elements unique to Ginza.
For guests who require a space to work away from the office, AC Lounge is an inviting co-working space by day which transforms into an urban bar at night. The bar serves the hotel’s signature Gin and Tonic as well as other expertly crafted cocktails, which are perfectly paired with innovative, Japanese-inspired tapas. For an out-of-the-ordinary experience, AC Lounge also features a unique Japanese sake cellar, where sake is stored at an optimal temperature. Known for its intriguing bar rituals, guests can indulge in a timeless Spanish tradition known as “Porron Pouring” which is a shareable experience that captivates those gathered around the bar.

The hotel is also equipped with 592 square feet of meeting facilities. L’osier D’or is a multiple-use space for intimate social and business gatherings and features a roof terrace with spectacular views of the city. In addition, a dedicated 24-hour fitness center allows guests to maintain their fitness routines while on the road.
