The country’s national flag carrier, Air China has launched its first Chengdu-Sydney service, providing more flexible travel options for business travellers in southwest China to Australia.
The airlines’ first nonstop route linking a city in west China to Australia, the Chengdu-Sydney service, CA429/30, is operated with Airbus 330-200 three times a week. The outbound flight, offered on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, departs from Chengdu at 22:55 and arrives in Sydney at 12:35 the following day. The return flight departs from Sydney at 14:35 and arrives in Chengdu at 22:35.
The flight service will help promote the development of economy and tourism of, as well as trade and industrial cooperation between, Sichuan and China’s western regions and Oceania. www.airchina.com
