Tianjin Airlines Eyes Melbourne-Chongqing Route

Tianjin Airlines has opened a new direct route from Melbourne to Chongqing, marking the carrier’s first transcontinental air route to Australia.

Early next year, Tianjin Airlines will also launch a new route from Sydney to Tianjin via Zhengzhou, which will initially begin on January 29, 2018.

The flights are operated by A330 aircraft, with 18 business class seats and 242 economy class seats. Both classes are equipped with an entertainment system on the back of each seat. Besides, delicious meals and considerable service are served on board, providing an enjoyable journey for passengers.

Tianjin Airlines has signed SPA agreement with Virgin Australia Corporation, connecting more Australian cities to Tianjin, including MelbourneBrisbaneCanberraPerthAdelaide and Gold Coast. After arriving Chongqing and Tianjin, passengers can conveniently transfer to other Chinese cities such as BeijingGuangzhouXi’an, Urumqi, and Haikou. In this way, passengers can experience the convenient connecting service by one-stop ticketing available on Tianjin Airlines’ global website and online travel agents.

Tianjin Airlines concentrates on the international market and has opened nearly 10 international air routes in 2016, including TianjinChongqingLondonTianjinMoscowTianjinChongqingAuckland. This year, Tianjin Airlines has introduced the fourth Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft and entered the rapid track of internationalization. To date, Tianjin Airline’s air route network has spread not only all over China but also over the world. With more than 100 navigable cities and a total passenger volume over 12 million.

With the launch of the MelbourneChongqing and TianjinZhengzhouSydney air routes, Tianjin Airlines plans to build a sky channel from China to Australia.
