New Amenities in BA’s Club World Cabins

British Airways is the latest airline to add chic new amenities to its business class cabins on flights to Asia.

Passengers travelling between London and Hong Kong in British Airways’ Club World business class can now benefit from a better night’s sleep in the sky with the introduction of new bedding from The White Company.

The development follows in the wake of American Airlines’ new collaboration with sleep specialists Casper.

The airline’s Hong Kong service is the first route in Asia to receive the new luxurious bedding and amenity kits from the iconic British retailer. The new bedding products have been exclusively designed by The White Company, and include a large pillow and white cotton pillowcase, a super-soft woven blanket with satin trim, a luxury duvet, and a padded mattress cover to provide an extra layer of comfort.

The new Club World amenity kits come in a bag from The White Company and contain products from the retailer’s Restore & Relax Spa Collection. The products have been specially selected to help counteract the effects of long-haul air travel, and each item is designed to provide a relaxing boost whenever customers need it during their flight.

In addition to this, the airline is also offering Club World customers a new “restaurant-style” dining experience on flights between Hong Kong and London, satisfying travellers’ desire for fine dining at altitude. The new dining service allows business class passengers to select freshly prepared starters and desserts from a trolley, in a style already employed by several other carriers in their business class cabins.

“We are delighted to be rolling out our new restaurant-style dining and enhanced sleep proposition on Club World business class flights from Hong Kong,” says Noella Ferns, British Airways’ executive vice president for Greater China and the Philippines. “We really think our customers are going to love these improvements.”

British Airways is also introducing a number of measures popular with other carriers that are designed to maximise available resting time for Club World customers. These include breakfast cards, which allow passengers to choose their preferred breakfast menu, and whether that would like to be woken.
