Conrad Osaka Opens its First Hotel in Western Japan

Conrad has opened its first property in western Japan and its second in the country, Conrad Osaka, offering travellers luxury accommodation options in the heart of the city.

Situated on the 33rd to 40th floors of the Nakanoshima Festival Complex, the hotel is located on the prime stretch between the Umeda and Namba districts, offering views of the cityscape through floor-to-ceiling windows in all guestrooms and suites.

Starting at 50sqm, Conrad Osaka’s 164 rooms and suites feature contemporary design infused with traditional Japanese elements and are equipped with digital control panels, 49-inch plasma screen televisions, wired and wireless high-speed internet access, and Bluetooth speakers.

The King Executive Suite offers a magnificent panoramic view of the cityscape from both its living room and private bedroom. The expansive 220sqm Conrad Suite has a lounge, a dining area, a bar, a pantry, and a walk-in closet. All executive rooms and suites provide access to the Executive Lounge, which includes a private check-in/out area, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails.

The hotel’s function spaces are pillar-free with abundant natural light and offer state-of-the-art technology and breathtaking views from 38 floors up. Perfect for corporate meetings and medium-sized events, the property’s 40sqm boardroom, 120sqm divisible meeting room, and two large ballrooms, each feature built-in projection screens and premium sound systems, complemented by fine furnishings and warm earth tones. The 225sqm ballroom with a private foyer can accommodate up to 80 guests in banquet-style and features a spiral staircase.

Conrad Osaka’s four dining options include the 40 Sky Bar & Lounge, which offers live music, cocktails and light meals against backdrops of unblocked river and city views; the C:GRILL introduces Osaka’s first crustacean a la carte restaurant with pier-inspired interiors, ideal for casual business meetings; Kura – Teppanyaki & Sushi, offers an array of seasonal fresh fish prepared on order, while chefs slice, sizzle, and sear at private tables.
