Aloft Debuts New Business travel Hotel in Jakarta

Marriott International has opened the doors of Aloft Jakarta Wahid Hasyim, the first Aloft to open in Indonesia. With its sassy modern style and tech-forward experiences, Aloft Wahid Hasyim brings the brand’s passion for live music, vibrant design and innovation to the capital city.

Conveniently located near Jakarta’s bustling central core, Aloft Jakarta Wahid Hasyim features 180 urban and locally influenced design-led rooms fully equipped with Aloft’s ultra-comfortable plush beds, custom amenities by Bliss Spa, fast & free Wi-Fi and flat-screen televisions. The hotel’s personality comes alive through its vibrant murals by recognized Indonesian artists, Nugraha Pratama and Nur Cahyono, illustrating Jakarta’s rich culture and heritage throughout the guest room interiors and communal spaces.

With its always-on public spaces, Aloft Jakarta Wahid Hasyim exudes a sassy modern style that is reflected in its free-flowing open areas imbued with bold, local influences. The hotel will feature the brand’s signature W XYZ Bar and re:mix Lounge, a lively public space where guests can mix and mingle over live acoustic music from local emerging musicians. Must-tries are the locally-inspired cocktails such as the refreshing 45 Bullet, which consists of traditional ingredients including kencur (kaempferia galangal), and mocktails such as the Milky Cigrass containing “Jeruk Pontianak” (oranges from West Borneo) along with lemongrass, homemade cinnamon syrup and fresh milk.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Nook, serves authentic Indonesian favourites such as the succulent “Ayam Bakar Seruni” (grilled marinated chicken with coriander sweet soya reduction, chilli relish and vegetables), in addition to international offerings. For those on the go, Re:fuel by Aloft, the brand’s signature 24/7 grab and go eatery, provides light meals, snacks, healthy bites, beverages and more.

Guests who wish to maintain their workout routine while travelling can do so at re:charge, the fully-equipped fitness center, or enjoy a refreshing dip in the outdoor Splash pool.
