VA Unveils Revamped Premium Economy

Virgin Australia’s revamped premium economy cabins will see customers enjoy expanded seat pitch, plated meal service and priority baggage.

The new cabin will feature 24 seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration; the new seat pitch is 41 inches, 3 more than the previus 38. According to the airline, this offers more legroom than any other Australian carrier.

Inflight catering in the new cabins is also being upgraded, and premium economy passengers will be able to enjoy the same plated service and selection of beers, spirits and wines as those in business class.

A new introduction is the Premium Larder. Exclusively for premium economy customers, the ‘larder’ is a fully-stocked pantry featuring an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, light meals, and snacks.

Other perks for the new premium economy product include dedicated check-in, priority boarding, and more baggage allowance. www.virginaustralia.com
