United Rolls Out Dreamliner on Six Routes

Starting this summer, United Airlines will put its B787-9 aircraft on six new routes out of Houston Bush Intercontinental airport.

The stretched Dreamliner will operate from the Texas airport to Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Tokyo NArita, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile.

The launch dates for these revamped routes have been staggered over coming months:

The Dreamliner will replace a B777-200ER to Rio de Janeiro from August 18, 2015.

Houston-Frankfurt will have several aircraft on the route replaced from September 24, 2015.

Travellers to Argentina will travel on the Dreamliner to Buenos Aires from October 25, 2015.

The last replacement for this year, the Dreamliner will take over from a B777-200ER to Amsterdam from December 17, 2015.

From January 5, 2016 the Dreamliner will fly to Santiago de Chile, replacing a B767-300ER aircraft.

Finally, the Dreamliner will be put on the Houston-Tokyo Narita route from March 3, 2016, replacing another B777-200ER. www.united.com
