Turkish Airlines to Boost Service to LHR

Responding to increasing passenger demands, Turkish Airlines will launch a new daily service between Istanbul Ataturk and London Heathrow from October 25, 2015.

The additional flights will be operated by an A321 aircraft and will increase the total number of return services between the two destinations from 30 to 37 per week.

“We are delighted to announce a new addition to our already impressive roster of flights from London Heathrow,” said Turkish Airlines’ general manager Osman Battal.

The outbound service, TK1971, will depart Istanbul Ataturk T1 at 1450 and arrive at Heathrow T2 at 1700; the return service will leave Heathrow at 1800, arriving in Istanbul at 2350.

Turkish Airlines operates one return flight between Hong Kong and Istanbul Ataturk every day, except Wednesdays. www.turkishairlines.com
