Tigerair Adds Routes to China, India

Singapore-based low cost carrier Tigerair will laucnh flights between the Lion City and the Chinese city of Quanzhou and the Indian city of Lucknow from September 28 and December 3 respectively. The new three-weekly flights will be operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft.

“Tigerair is constantly looking to introduce new services to expand our offerings and enhance connectivity for customers,” says Tigerair CEO Lee Lik Hsin. “The addition of Quanzhou and Lucknow will further improve Singapore’s link to China and India.”

Quanzhou, a coastal city in the Fujian Province, will be Tigerair’s 12th Greater China destination. Lucknow, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, is the second largest city in North and Central India after New Dehli and will be the airline’s 6th destination in India.
