Thai AirAsia to Fly to Changsha from Chiang Mai

Thai AirAsia is will launch daily direct flights between Chiang Mai in northern Thailand and Changsha, China, on May 27, allowing business travellers the chance to fly to the financial and transportation centre of Hunan province.

The outbound service, FD480, will depart Chiang Mai International Airport at 18:15, arriving in Changsha Huanghua International Airport at 22:20. The return flight, FD481, will leave Changsha at 23:20 and land in Chiang Mai at 01:15 the next day.

“We added new daily direct flights from Chiang Mai to Changsha to offer the people of Chiang Mai an economical way to travel,” says Santisuk Klongchaiya, director of commercial for Thai AirAsia. “Our strong on-time record allows for clear travel planning and we are the only airline that offers the route.”

Changsha is the fourth destination in Greater China that Thai AirAsia offers direct fligths from Chiang Mai, following Macau, Hong Kong and Hangzhou. www.airasia.com
